Zen in Florida
When in the Tampa Bay area, check out the Zen Buddhist zendo known as the Possum Creek zendo. The group name is the Clear Water Zen Meditation Group. There are usually about fifteen people there every Sunday morning at 8:00 AM. The zendo is in the city of Clearwater off Sunset Point Road. Request a map at info@clearwaterzen.com. The group's website is www.clearwaterzen.com. Intensive meditation retreats known as sesshins are held three or four times per year under the guidance of Sensei Lawson Sachter, dharma heir of Philip Kapleau. |
